Kourtney Kardashian Reveals "Urgent Fetal Surgery"

While much of Kourtney Kardashian's life has been documented on camera, she's keeping some personal details to herself.

At the moment, for the Kardashians star—who is expecting her first baby with husband Travis Barker—that includes sharing further insight into her recent hospitalization for fetal surgery.

"It was terrifying," Kourtney told Vanity Fair Italia, via translation, in an interview published Oct. 13. And although the 44-year-old noted that "sooner or later" she'll share her story in hopes of helping others, right now she doesn't "feel ready yet because it was really scary."

The Lemme CEO previously thanked her doctors for helping to save her baby's life via the procedure. "Praise be to God," she wrote on Instagram Sept. 6. "Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing."

And as for how the reality star is doing today, Kourtney—who also shares kids Mason Disick, 13, Penelope Disick, 11, and Reign Disick, 8, with ex Scott Disick—told Vanity Fair Italia, "Physically I feel great. I like being pregnant. I'm obsessed with the idea of being pregnant!"

Though her journey this time around has been different than her previous pregnancy experiences. "Unlike the other three, I was followed by a different group of doctors who, in the first months, gave me many restrictions," Kourtney, who has been open about her and Travis' road to baby over the years, explained. "No workouts, no Pilates, no caffeine, no plane trips. Even no sex!"คำพูดจาก เว็บสล็อต

"Well, I think all this caution made me a little afraid because in the past I had never had to be careful," she continued. "It took me a while to let go of the fear, I would say that right after the surgery I got to the point where I let go, I stopped worrying. Now I talk to the baby every day, have a positive mindset, keep my head straight and say a lot of prayers. And I feel really lucky and grateful. Well, I have a lot of gratitude, yes. Not that I didn't have it before, but perhaps since it came easily to me, I took the pregnancy for granted."
